Anaheim
Hospitality Industry

Welcome to LodgingGuide.com's lodging listings for the Anaheim area.

Named by German settlers in the mid-1800s who found this quiet and fresh area by the Santa Ana River reminiscent of their homeland, Anaheim initially was the center of California's orange industry. The many parades and sports events hosted to promote this new industry earned Anaheim's eventual reputation as a tourist and convention center. In the early 1950s, Walt Disney chose to build his new theme park here, and the city has grown steadily since then. As with other rapidly developing towns, Anaheim has had its share of infrastructure and demographic problems, but exciting renovation projects are underway to recapture the all-American sparkle that has defined Anaheim since its birth.
